Details for Saturday's class!
Thank you for choosing Downriver Guns for your firearms training! We can’t wait to see you, but first we wanted to give you some details about the class!
The classroom portion will be held at The Grecian Center, located at 16300 Dix Toledo Rd, Southgate, 48195 on Saturday August 24th, 2024. Class begins promptly at 10am. Unfortunately, due to state requirements, late arrivals can not be accomadated.
We have made some huge improvements to streamline registration for class! We have three easy steps that must be completed before class.
Step 1- Sign the waivers. Click the link to sign the USCCA class waiver. This must be done before class. Click Here. If you have never been to our range, you will be required to also sign our Range Waiver. This can be done at the range, however to save time, you can complete it before. Our range waiver only needs to be done once per year. Click Here to complete our Range Waiver.
Step 2- Sign up to get your CPL Guide for class. There is no charge for this Click Here.
Step 3- Sign up for you Range Qualification time slot. Click Here. Qualifications must be completed in the 2 weeks immediately following class. We have time slots available for mornings and evenings, 7 days a week. Once you select a day/time slot, you will receive a confirmation email. (Please be sure to check your junk folder if you do not see the email.) You must also save the reservation confirmation. If you must cancel, reschedule your qualification, or for special accomadation requests please reach out to Amanda at Amanda@DownriverGuns.com at least 24 hours prior to your qualification reservation.
This is a large Academy style class, so there will be a lot of students attending. However, range qualifications will be limited to 10 students per appointment time.
Check-in starts at 9:00 am and will run until 9:45am. You may check in any time during this timeframe. We ask that your entire group check-in together and please have your photo ID ready. Please Do NOT bring firearms to class. If you bring your firearm with you, please leave it appropriately secured in your vehicle.
There will be no qualifications after September 8th,2024. If you do not complete your qualification by September 8th, 2024 you will NOT receive your training certificate and will need to take another class. Class certificates and your FREE month of range time will be issued at the completion of qualification. Eye and ear protection will be provided, if needed, for qualifications. Students will need 50 rounds of ammunition. You are more than welcome to bring your own firearm and ammo. Don’t worry if you don’t own a firearm yet we have rentals and ammo available for purchase. There is no additional fee associated with the qualification unless you need a rental firearm.
Class starts promptly at 10am and will go until approximately 6pm dependent on student interaction. State law regulates that all students be there for the full duration of the class, so if you arrive late you will need to sign up for another class.
Lunch is included in your class reservation and will be served around 1pm. Sandwhich wraps, bagged chips, and drinks will be available.
